Vicki Lynn Wright, age 68, of Florence, Alabama, passed away on August 29, 2026, at El Reposo Nursing Facility in Florence.
Vicki was born on April 10, 1958, in Florence, Alabama, to Hubert Christian Poague and Maedale Rossie Harris Poague.
Visitation will be Friday, September 04, 2026, from 1-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.
The funeral will follow immediately in the chapel at 2 p.m.
Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Park with Sawyer Stamps officiating.
Above all, Vicki was a mother, grandmother, sister, and beloved member of a large family. She is survived by her two sons, Christian Miles Wright of Chelsea, Alabama, and Austin Kyle Wright of St. Augustine, Florida; her brother, Mike Poague of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; and her sister, Diane Gifford of Killen, Alabama. She also leaves behind grandchildren Gracie Wright, Braxton Wright, Dallas Wright, Jase Able, Rylan Able, Hunter Mangefrida, Harper Williams and Blair Wright.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents and other beloved members of her family, including her sisters Rosemary Fields and Elizabeth Kelley and her brother Harris Poague.
Her family will remember Vicki for the many years they shared with her, the memories created together, and the place she will forever hold in their lives. Though her passing brings great sadness, those who knew and loved her will carry her memory with them in the years ahead. Vicki’s life will be celebrated by her family and friends, who are grateful for the time they were blessed to have with her. May her memory bring comfort to all who loved her.
