Vicki Holmes Trevarthen, 67 of Graysville, passed away Monday September 18, 2023.
Mrs. Trevarthen was the Secretary at Sumiton Christian School, where she had been employed for some 35 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. One of her greatest joys in life was her grandchildren. She loved spending time with them and going to all their sporting events and games.
She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Betty Holmes.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Robert “Buster” Trevarthen; sons, Eric Trevarthen and Brian Trevarthen (Rebecca); grandsons, Bruin and Brooks Trevarthen; brothers, Larry Holmes (Pat) and Ricky Holmes (Ramona); several other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday Sept. 21, 23 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Mike Irons will officiate. Burial will follow at Lawler Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 12:30-2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to either Sumiton Christian School or St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
