FLORENCE – Starting Monday, motorists are going to have to reroute their driving around Veterans Drive. The Tennessee Southern Railroad will be making repairs to their crossing at Royal Avenue. The crossing is scheduled to reopen on October 18.
Tennessee Southern Railroad is a small line that operates from The Port of Florence to Natco, Tennessee, just north of Columbia. It is owned by Patriot Rail Corporation.
