Ruth Kent Pylant, 88, of Owens Cross Roads, passed away Wednesday.
She was preceded in death by husband, Frank Leon Pylant; father, John Kent; mother, Dovie Kent; brothers, Buford, Willie, and Iley Kent; sisters, Ethel Day, Lois Dennis, Opal Partrick, and Lillian Beard.
Surviving are sons, Frank (Glenda) Pylant, and Greg (Shirley) Pylant; grandchildren, David Pylant, Krystal Pylant, and Michael (Amy) Pylant; great-grandchildren, Piper Pylant, Dax Pylant, and Natalie Pylant; numerous nieces and nephews..
Visitation with social distancing guidelines will be Friday 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Friday at 2:00 PM with Cathy Spears officiating.
Interment will be in the Byrd Cemetery.
