Ms. Veronica (Bonnie) Allen, 58, of Madison, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013. Viewing will be 1-8 p.m. today at Saints Funeral Home of Sheffield. Family hour will be 6-8 p.m. The funeral will be noon Saturday at The Revival Center Church of God in Christ. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Entombment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Officiating at the funeral will be Pastor Walter Johnson.
She was a native of Florence, Ala. and was a former resident of Madison, Ala.
She is survived by her father, Mr. Earnest Scott, Florence, Ala.; son, Marcus Allen, Anniston, Ala.; daughter, Kristi Allen, Madison, Ala.; sisters, Alesia Allen, Montgomery, Ala., Tonika (John) Greenleaf, Richmond, Va., and Kimberly (Willie) Smith, Baton Rouge, La.; along with a host of aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Willie Mae Lafity Scott.
