James Stephen Berry, 62, a native of Lauderdale County, passed away Wednesday, Sept., 25, at his residence after an extended illness.
Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, from 1-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home, with a graveside service beginning at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Park. Officiating will be Danny Russell.
Mr. Berry was preceded in death by his parents, James Arlie and Emma Nola Berry; and sister, Linda Berry Mitchell.
He is survived by a niece, Cindy Allison; nephews, Joey and Chris Mitchell; five great-nieces and one great-nephew.
Joey Mitchell, Chris Mitchell, Andrew Mitchell and Eric Vickery will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Shelia Waldrep, Shelby Collier and members of Southern Care Hospice, Rose Lane, Sarah Rogers and Fran Williams.
