Vernon White, age 84 of Decatur, died Sunday January 18, 2015.
His funeral will be Wednesday January 21, 2015 at 1:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Patrick officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Valhermoso Holiness Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday January 21, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. White was born August 21, 1930 in Morgan County, Al. to Leolia White and Martha Jane Davidson White.
He was preceded in death by his parents ; his wife Ada Vada Parker White and son
Larry Van White.
He is survived by 1 son: David Lanford White, of Hartselle.
2 Daughters: Brenda Carol Balch (David) of Arab.
Wanda Stejskal (Andy) 0f Somerville.
2 Brothers: Elide White, of Decatur.
Hurel White, of Arab.
1 Sister: Flossie Tyler, of Morgan City.
Grandchildren: Terri Balch(Richard), Gary David Balch, Deanna Stutts( Justin),
Elizabeth Perrell(Will), Maria Stejskal.
8 Great Grandchildren.
Mr. White retired from Huntsville Utilities. He loved to attend Midway Center for dancing and fellowship with friends.
