Funeral services for Vernon, “Marty” Little, age 59, will be held on Sunday, April, 3, 2022 at 4pm at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joel Pigg officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 2pm and continuing until service time.

Visitation will precede the service beginning at 2pm and continuing until service time.Mr. Little, a machinist with Trenton Mills and Dana Corp., passed away at his home after a lengthy illness on Thursday, March 31, 2022.
Mr. Little was a member of Westside Baptist Church who enjoyed playing the harmonica, fishing, collecting, a jack of all trades, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Little was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Artemus Little and a son, Joshua Caine Hayes.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Sue Buchanan Little; three children, Matthew Ray Little and wife Rachell, Nikesha Danielle Little and husband Ricky, and Cody Shane Little; his mother, Mary Martha McCaskill Little; three sisters, Selena Whittemore and husband Bubba, Melinda Turner and Melissa Ratliff; a daughter-in-law Misty Hayes; and fourteen grandchildren, Jocelyn Gentry, Preston Hayes, Payton Hayes, Jordan Little, Ely Little, Grace Degroff, Elizabith Degroff, Ian Degroff, Macy Meade, Emma Willis, Maya Willis, Mila Willis, Garrett Graves and Abel Little.
