Mr. Vernon Lee Green Age 85 of Sand Rock passed away Saturday June 21st 2014 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Monday June 23rd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Nick Deweese officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 P.M. Sunday.
Pallbearers include Danny McMichen, Danny Bone, Mike Daniel, Doyce Green, Ray Robertson & Ronnie Abernathy.
Survivors include daughter, Sandra (James) Streett: son, Ira (Theresa) Green: Grandchildren, Jennifer (Brad) Partin, Jessica (Kyle) Rinehart and Anna Hartline: Great-Grandchildren, Jackson Partin & Addilynn Rinehart.
He was preceded in death by his wife Geneva Hughes Green.
Mr. Green was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late James & Cora Green, and a member of the Old Nazareth Baptist Church.
