Funeral for Vernon Blair Dixon, 75, of Moulton will be Thursday, December 11, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Ernest Burgess and Ron Rikard officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Dixon, who died Monday, December 8, 2014, at Huntsville Hospital, was born July 16, 1939, in Waynesboro, Tenn., to James R. Dixon and Ellen Byrd Dixon. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Lolita Heflin, Jimmie Miller and Barbara Walkup.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Nita LouAllen Dixon; one son, Kipling Blair Dixon; one daughter, Debbie Yolanda Feltner; one grandchild, Jayden Blair Dixon; and two sisters, Velma Long and Margie Williamson.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
