Vernette Hood Pickens age 88, of Florence, passed away September 1st, 2004. There will be a graveside service Thursday September 5th at 3 p.m. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Pickens was preceded in death by her husband, John Pickens.
She is survived by her son, Randy Pickens (Lynda) and daughters; Debbie Dingus (Robert) and Vickie Nichols (Chris)
Grandchildren; Adam Dinges (Nichole), Ashley Sealey (Michael), Alex Dinges (Valerie), Taylor Pickens, Caroline Pickens, Laura Pickens, Shalae Gilmer (Larry), Chase Gilmer, Kelsey Nichols, Kirby Richards (Brett), Kyndal Cheng (Yu-Tang), Kole Nichols (Belah), Kyle Nichols, Karson Nichols (Emily) and Anastasia Sudarsana.
Great- grandchildren; Tyler, Henry, Katelin, Jane Rado, Phillip, Caiden, Morgan, Mia, Carson, Audrey, Grant, Sylvie, Marlo, Elijah and Vera.
She retired from Superior Tool and Die.
