Vernell M. Young, age 93 Bear Creek, AL. formerly of Vernon, AL. passed away Saturday March 17, 2018. She was a retired Secretary with Young, Young and Gosa Law office in Vernon, AL., attended First United Methodist Church in Haleyville, AL.
A time of visitation with the family, will be Saturday March 24, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL., with a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel, with Bobby Poss and Martha Hauer officiating,
She is survived by her children, John W. Young, Jr. and Emily Y. Fleming; 6 grandchildren and 71/2 great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Elizabeth McAdams; husband, John W. Young; brothers and sisters, Belton McAdams, Aubry McAdams, Pauline McAdams Pennington, Emily McAdams Conner and Claudine McAdams Spurlock.
