Mrs. Verlon Casey died on Tuesday October 10, 2023 at her residence in Decatur AL. She was born October 29, 1925 in Franklin County, AL to Ernest James and Mary Wilson Jones James. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Casey was a member of Somerville Road Church of Christ. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Charles Casey and son Daniel Casey. She is survived by her sons Randy Casey (Jean), Don Casey (Judy), daughter-in-law Kathy Casey, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, October 13 from 11:30 to 12:30 at Roselawn Funeral Home in Decatur, AL with graveside service at Burningtree Memorial Gardens Decatur, AL at 1:00 with Brother Gary Patton officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the charity of your choice.
