Verdie Ruth Wilson age 92 of Tanner, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014 at Athens-Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Wilson was born February 4, 1922 in Giles County, TN.
Services for Mrs. Wilson are Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Sunday, May 25, 2014 from 12:00 until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Dennis Ivy officiating.
She is survived by is daughters, Mary Rooks and husband Hoytt, Sarah Caldwell, Brenda Mason and Doyce and Sue Long and husband Sherman; sons, Buford Wayne Wilson, Jackie Wilson and wife Trish and Erskin Wilson and wife Diane; sister, Irene Philback; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband John Buford Wilson and her parents.
Pallbearers are Nick Wilson, Jody Wilson, Chris Wilson, Brian Wilson, Mikey Long and Shannon Long.
