Vera Olene Pence, age 92, of Woodville, passed away Thursday.
Olene was preceded in death by her father, James Elic Pence; mother, Vera D. Treece Pence; brothers, James Eldredge, Robert Eldredge and Julian Dewey Pence; and sisters, Lorene Farr, Ola Mae Anders and Evelyn Selvage.
She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was a lifelong member of the Butler’s Mill Community who had a lifelong passion for farming, animals, plants, and flowers, and most of all a love for family.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Windsor House and Hospice of Alabama.
Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday at 2:00 PM.
Interment will be in Kennamer Cemetery.
Due to the inclement weather, no graveside service is planned.
