Vera Burns Willingham, 78, Tuscumbia, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025. Visitation will be Sunday, August 10, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Ed White officiating. Interment will be in Guy Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Vera was a member of River Road Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Dale Willingham; mother, Naomi Burns Stegall; and brother, Wayne Burns.
Vera is survived by her daughter, Tabitha; numerous other children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; brothers, Melvin Burns (Sharon) and William Burns (Joanie); and sister, Wanda Mitchell.
