Vera Ann Collins Duvall, age 84, passed away in Huntsville, Alabama, on Saturday, May 30, 2020.
Born June 29, 1935, in Dalton/Whitfield County, Georgia, she worked for the Whitfield County Board of Commissioners for many years, before moving to Huntsville, AL, in 1969, with her husband Jim Duvall. Working in the flooring industry at Lane’s Carpet and then on to open Duvall’s Carpet with her husband, Jim. Vera was blessed with a wonderful life and man great friends and family in both Georgia and Alabama. She will be greatly missed by them all.
Survivors include her children, Susanne Duvall McCullough & husband, David McCullough of Huntsville, Alabama and Maria Duvall, of Great Falls, Montana; three grandchildren, Joshua Lee Guthrie of Nashville, Tennessee; Dylan Guy Conger & wife, Taylor Mitchell Conger of Bozeman, Montana; Nicholas Morrow Deshayes of Great Falls, Montana; and Patricia Noel Ayer Dailey & husband, Mitchell Dailey of Virginia Beach, Virginia ; her sister Alice Carolyn Collins Nutis & husband, Andre J. Nutis; along with many beloved nieces, nephew and their families.
There will be no funeral services at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Dunagan Cemetery Maintenance via check care of: Carolyn Lewallen, 424 Lafayette Road,Rocky Face, Georgia, 40740.
