Venela Jarvis Collins, age 87, of Sheffield, died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013. Visitation will be today from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be Wednesday, November 20, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Marty Kelly officiating. Burial will be at Butler Cemetery.
She was a member of the Muscle Shoals Church of God. She worked with the Colbert County Report in advertisement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Collins.
Survivors are her children, Bobby Collins (Shirley) and Mary Collins; sisters, Faye Sanders and Pauline Missildine; grandchildren, Regina Foster (Eric), Jennifer Burt (Rich), and Amy Francisco (Randy); great-grandchildren, Seth, Kristen, and Jacob Foster, Jaimee Burt, and Gracie, Bree and Lexie Francisco; and a number of nieces and nephews.
