Memorial service for Vene Haney Sneed, formerly of Mooresville, will be Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at 10 a.m. at First Bible Church of Decatur with Jess Montegudo officiating.
Vene went to be with her Lord and Savior Nov. 27, 2015. She was born in Minor Hill, Tennessee to Hershel Walker Haney and Hattie Leigh Haney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Allen Sneed; her parents; one sister, Drennon Haney Stanford; one brother, Lloyd Byron Haney. Survivors include four nephews, Dan Stanford (Iris) of Machiasport, Maine, Don Stanford (Carolyn) of Decatur, Mike and Mark Haney of Nashville, Tennessee; and one niece, Becky Kent of Leighton.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the missions fund at First Bible Church.
