Venda Lavelle Miller Roberson, 72, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Helen Keller Hospital, Sheffield, AL. She was born in Franklin County, AL and worked as a seamstress. She was of the Baptist faith.
Services will be Saturday, November 6, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Jimmy Massey officiating. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by a daughter – Christina Roberson McCarley (Jason); three grandchildren – Bayden Six (Kiara), Braylon Roberson and Marenda McCarley; one great-grandchild – Legacy Ariebella Six and one nephew – James Miller (Brandy).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orvil and Ophelia Spencer Miller, two brothers, Anderson Miller and Arlan Miller and a sister, Ann Miller.
Pallbearers will be Jason McCarley, James Miller, Bayden Six and Braylon Roberson.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 6, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
