Velma Norris, 89, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017. Velma was of the Baptist Faith. Service will be announced by Colbert Memorial Chapel at a later time. She was an avid gardener with a green thumb and a zest to grow fruits, vegetables, and flowers.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Katie Lyons; brother, Johnny Lyons; daughter, Marcy Barker.
She is survived by her husband of 63 wonderful years, Bob Norris; daughters, Norma Ebener (Neal) and Linda Anderson; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and her three beloved bobtail cats, Callie, Shortie, and Tiny.
