Velma Louise Heath Edwards, age 101, Haleyville, AL. passed away Sunday March 2, 2025 at her home. She was a member of Haleyville Freewill Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Wednesday March 5, 2025 from 10:30AM – 11:30AM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 11:30AM in the chapel, with Bro. Jeff Boyles officiating. Burial to follow in Littleville Cemetery.
Pallbearers, Chris Warren, Owen Warren, Rodney Edwards, Derrell Edwards, Paul Smith and Anthony Sartin.
She is survived by her children, Charles Lee Edwards, Janis Edwards Cole, Joan Edwards Logan and Douglas Hugh Edwards (wife Linda); sister, Nina Allen and Pauline Mancuso; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Heath and Anna Shelnutt Heath; husband, Andrew Jackson Edwards; sons, Veto Edwards and Billy Edwards; brothers, Lenard, Lester, Junior, Roy and Paul Heath; grandson, Todd Edwards.
