Survivors include: 1 Son- Ricky Wayne Short of Iron City, TN; 3 Daughters- Janie Short Phillips & husband Don of Iron City, TN; Doris “Crickett” Kimbrell & husband Rayford of Iron City, TN; Darlene “Boog” Jones & husband Dave of Loretto, TN; 2 Brothers- J. D. Butler of Hollycreek, TN; Doris Butler of Lawrenceburg, TN; 4 Sisters- Corene Gambrell of Lawrenceburg, TN; Colene Willis of Lawrenceburg, TN; Nadine Adams of Columbia, TN; Robbie Smith of Columbia, TN; Grannys special family friend- Paulie Buttrum; 16 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandson; Preceded in death by: Husband- Willie Short; Daughter- Barbara Jean Short; Grandson- Stacy “ET” Short; Granddaughter- Donna Jane Phillips; Pallbearers will be Rodney Kimbrell, John Jones, Justin Short, Jacob Atwell, Tristen Brewer, & Eric Short; Honorary Pallbearers will be- Channing Bromley, Wesley Short, Will Bromley, & Greg Holden. The funeral service will be officiated by Bro. Turnbo & Greg Morris. Burial will follow in Railroad Cemetery.
