Velma E. Grigsby, 89, of Killen, Al., passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024 at North Alabama Medical Center.  She was a life-long member of Lone Cedar Church of Christ. The Church was her life, so it was very appropriate that she went home on resurrection Sunday!  She enjoyed her garden club and the friends she made there.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 5-8:00 p.m. at the Lone Cedar Church of Christ.  The funeral service will be Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the church.  Burial will be in the Lone Cedar Cemetery.  Officiating will be Tim Grigsby and Jeff Grigsby.

Mrs. Grigsby is preceded in death by her husband, Marshall J. Grigsby; father, Virgil Graham; mother, Ina Graham; sister, Lera Black; brothers, Leman Graham and Elbert Talent.

Her children and grandchildren were the best part of her being here!
