SHEFFIELD-Hit rock cover band Velcro Pygmies are raising funds for the Historic Ritz
Theatre with a benefit concert November 1, 2024. The funds raised for tickets will support the
renovations of the Encore Room. The Pygmies specialize in hard rock from the 1970s, 80s, and
early 90s (POISON, DEF LEPPARD, VAN HALEN, BON JOVI, KISS, AC/DC, BILLY IDOL,
OZZY, METALICA, QUEEN, and MORE), and are known for their high-energy flare onstage.
“We are so enthusiastic about the renovations to the theater, and are pleased to have the Velcro
Pygmies support our cause,” says Tennessee Valley Art Association, executive director Christi
Britten.
VIP tickets are available for the first five rows and include an opportunity to meet the band after
the show. Ticket prices range from $30 – $20 and are available at tennesseevalleyarts.org.
