Mrs. Varnes Hacker Humphries Warhurst, 89, of Russellville, died Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.

She lived all of her life in Franklin County and was a member of Bethsaida Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with Stanley Hargett officiating. Burial in Bethsaida Cemetery. Visitation from noon until time of service.

Survivors include her husband, Wilmer Warhurst; children, Hoyt (Jean) Humphries, Varnell Brooks, Barbara Sue Mansell; stepdaughters, Sherry (Pete) Smith, Renae Smith; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Reynon Hacker, Athel Hacker; sisters, Lela Dawson, Jackie Coleman; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Joe Mansell, Paul Mansell, Courtney Humphries, Connor Mansell, Caleb Mansell and Adam Brooks. Honorary pallbearers: Wade Hacker and Damon Hacker.

She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Avo Humphries; grandson, Brent Humphries; brothers, Venyon, W.C., Velon, Wayne, Anthony and Harty Hacker; sister, Ripple Sue Hardesty; sons-in-law, Harold Brooks and Johnny Mansell; and stepson, Mark Smith.
