Ms. Vanessa Joan Jowers, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 in Lexington. She was born March 16, 1964 in Lexington. She was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and worked as a cook. Vanessa loved the color purple, unicorns, and talking! She was preceded in death by her companion, Tyrone McKinney. Survivors include her mother, Ms. Ruth Rhodes; her son, Tyler Wayne McDaniel; her daughter, Molly Brooke Nicole Jowers; son in law to be; Nathaniel Appell, and her dog, Shora Cortana. The family will receive friends on Friday 6-9 PM and on Saturday 10 AM – 12:45 PM at Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Graveside services are scheduled for 1 PM, Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Lexington Cemetery.
