Valton Crabtree, age 93, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at NHC Oakwood.
He was born in the Talley Station community and a lifelong resident of Lewisburg. He was the son of the late Amos Crabtree and Elma Bryant Crabtree. He retired from the U. S. Postal Service after many years as a faithful and dependable Mail Carrier. He served as an Elder at Farmington Church of Christ and also served as song leader for several years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Elma Crabtree.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Margie Crabtree; one son, Ricky Starlon (Debbie) Crabtree of Franklin; one daughter, Suzanne (Alan) Monosky of Gardendale, AL; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091, with burial to follow in New Hope Cemetery at Talley Station.
Visitation with the family will begin on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 12:00 pm until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m.
