Graveside service for Valerie Denise Bolton, age 73, of Hartselle, will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Grange Hall Cemetery with Rev. Steve Caudle officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing.
Valerie passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, May 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and the memories she cherished throughout her life.
Born November 9, 1952, in Florence, Valerie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a proud 1971 graduate of West Morgan High School and carried with her the kindness, strength, and warmth that touched all who knew her.
Valerie was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Ruby Lake.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Steve Bolton; her beloved children, Kenny Bolton and Amanda Bolton; and her treasured grandchildren, Kaleb Bolton, Savannah Bolton, Abbie Bolton, Willow Bolton, Keanna Bolton, and Isabella Mika.
She was also blessed with the joy of great-grandchildren, Aurora Ryan, Blaire Robinson, and Bristol Robinson, who brought light and happiness to her life.
Valerie is also survived by her loving sister, Teresa Williams, and her brother, Lester Lake, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Valerie’s life was a beautiful reflection of love, faith, and devotion to family. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace with the Lord.
