Vaifoa Taimi Love Vaifoa Taimi Love, 81, of Holly Pond, passed away on September 13, 2021. Vai was born April 22, 1940, in Pago Pago, America Samoa, to Ti and FaaVela Taimi.

Vai was a long time resident of the Union Grove community, and she enjoyed attending church at Union Grove Presbyterian Church. She loved her job at Tyson Foods, in Blount County, and she worked there for over twenty years. Vai made many friends in both her community and at Tyson, and she enjoyed spending time with her friends and neighbors. Ms. Love was an adoring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her babies, and she supported them in everything they did. Vai also loved her brothers and sisters dearly, as well as her nieces and nephews. Vai was loved by many, and she will missed greatly by many.

Ms. Love is preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Esther Williams, Michelle and Shane Stallings, Lisa and Adam Turner, Linda and Shawn Johnson; grandchildren, Heather and Guy Rickman, Taylor Stallings, Regan Johnson, Kaylee Stallings, Libby Stallings, Austin Taimi, Bella Taimi, Blake Turner, Kara Turner; great-granddaughter, Madyson Rickman; and a brother, Tei Taimi.

Graveside services for Vai will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, September 17, 2021, in Union Grove Cemetery. Family members will serve as pallbearers. Friends are invited to visit with the family, at the cemetery, from 10:30 a.m., until services begin.
