Haunted Hayride-Every Saturday Night In October
The Haunted Hayride will be held every saturday night in October from dusk until 11:00PM. This event will be a real barn burner with all kinds of scary attractions. for more information contact Amanda Skipworth 256.856.0927 or McKinsley Jones at 256.856.3761. All volunteers are asked to meet at the park on September 17 to organize the event. We are expecting the best scary event on the mountain than ever in the past.
SHOALS ASTRONOMY CLUB PUBLIC OBSERVING SEPTEMBER 23 – (9/24 RAIN DATE)
Join members of Shoals Astronomy Club at LaGrange College Site Park for a night sky tour Friday, Sept.23,2022 Weather permitting, the roof will roll off the historic LaGrange Observatory at 6:30 p.m., and amateur astronomers will curate a night sky tour as darkness falls.
Shoals Astronomy Club, a local group of amateur astronomers, will show star-forming regions, supernova remnants, and beautiful star clusters through their club telescope. We encourage people of all ages to attend and enjoy the limitless beauty of a night sky.

CHRISTMAS IN THE COUNTRY WEEK-END BEFORE THANKSGIVING NOVEMBER 18-19 2022 10-4
The annual Christmas in the Country will be held from 10AM until 4Pm on the weekend before Thanksgiving. Come see all the buildings at the LaGrange College Site Park decorated for Christmas and while you are there shop the vendors for that special Christmas present. . There will be food and fun with Santa for the kids. This event is free to the public and sponsored by the LaGrange Living Historical Association.
