FLORENCE – University of North Alabama students Matthew Hatchel (Alpha Tau Omega) and Scott Griffin (Delta Chi) placed second in the Order of Omega Case Study Competition at the Southeastern Inter-fraternity Conference Leadership Academy in Atlanta, Georgia, Feb. 15-18.

The students were presented with a scenario similar to those of the Piazza/Beta Theta Pi case at Penn State. They were then tasked with identifying critical issues and designing a plan to address the issues at hand.

Due to the number of participants in the Case Study competition, Griffin and Hachtel were placed in the student-advisor group competition with professionals, rather than just undergraduate students.

The second place finish in the student-advisor group earned the team $150.
