FLORENCE– The University of North Alabama College of Arts and Sciences Sunseri Speaker Series will host a Woman in STEM Panel, Oct. 26 at 2p.m., in the Science and Technology Building, room 136.
The panel will feature five graduates of the College of Arts and Sciences at various stages in their careers. Included in the panel will be Anne Whitaker, the current chairman, president and CEO of KNOW Bio Respiratory LLC; Dr. Deborah Hellums, the immediate past director of fertilizer research at the International Fertilizer Development Center; Lacey Reinoehl, the vice president for Customer Experience at Lojix Software, LLC; Jessica Williams, an Environmental, Health and Safety Engineer with 3M; and Hannah Hopkins, who serves as a software developer for NASA.
The Sunseri Speaker Series is made possible through a generous donation from UNA alumnus David Sunseri, who sponsored the series at UNA in order to honor his late sister, Jennifer Leigh Sunseri. The series focuses on the integration of arts and creativity with the sciences to drive innovation.
There will be a networking reception immediately following the panel. This event is open to the public, but seating is limited.
