Image result for CEO Magazine FLORENCE-– UNA’s MBA and Executive MBA have been recognized by CEO Magazine as premier programs worldwide in a recent survey released by the publication.

Both the Global Online MBA program and the Global Online Executive MBA program were ranked within the top 57 schools in the world.  UNA’s Global Executive MBA, which is taught in the U.S., China and Taiwan was ranked in the top 90 programs globally.

“To be recognized by a prestigious publication such as CEO Magazine is a great honor,” said UNA dean of the College of Business Dr. Greg Carnes. “And being recognized in two separate rankings, and both in global categories, certainly speaks well of what we have put in place for the graduate education of our students.”

“The quality and size of our MBA program makes it a showcase program for the University,” said UNA vice president for Academic Affairs and Provost Dr. Ross Alexander.  “Dean Carnes and his team of dedicated faculty and staff make the College of Business a hub of innovation and growth on campus and in the community. I appreciate them all deeply.”

London-based CEO Magazine provides business tools, tips and advice to help networks grow, thrive and succeed. Its 2018 Global MBA Rankings uses a system entirely geared and weighted on fact-based criteria.  The weighting of data points includes the quality of faculty, international diversity, class size, accreditation, faculty to student ratio, price, international exposure, work experience, professional development, gender parity, and delivery methods.

“The benefits attached to an MBA are well documented,” states the magazine in their MBA Blog. “Career progression, networking opportunities, personal development, salary…. and the list goes on. However, in an increasingly congested market, selecting the right business school can be difficult.”

Universities ranked in the same category as UNA for the Global Online survey include the College of William and Mary, St. Joseph’s University and the University of Washington.
