FLORENCE – The University of North Alabama’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) program has been recognized by a national online publication, Online MBA Report, as the second in the state and in the Top 20 in the South.

“This type of recognition reflects the College of Business’ delivery of the best possible curriculum for our students,” said College of Business Dean Greg Carnes. “Online course delivery is certainly not new to us; we have 16 years of experience in successfully promoting this format to a broad student population. For the Online MBA Report, our MBA program was up against very formidable schools, and both within the state and within the region places well. With our AACSB accreditation and our very affordable tuition UNA provides one of the highest return on investment for graduate education in the nation.”

The online guide ranked UNA’s MBA program against 300 universities both regionally and nationally. The criteria used in making this list consists of academic reputation of a given school’s online MBA program, value as it relates to tuition, relative MBA program enrollment numbers, admissions selectivity, and program quality and rigor.

“Our goal with these rankings is to give potential MBA candidates access to ample, comprehensive information so they can make an informed decision about the online MBA program they choose to pursue,” states the Online MBA Report. “We hope that our rankings are a starting point for MBA candidates to discover the schools that are the best fit for them.”

New students who enroll in the online MBA program for the fall 2020 semester may take their first course for free. Other online-only programs are also offering the same opportunity to new students.
