UNA Choruses Host Free Outdoor Concert

UNA-DEI-at-nightFLORENCE-The University of North Alabama Collegiate Singers and Vocal Jazz Ensemble will present Spring Sing!, this Sunday, April 26, at 3 p.m. in the UNA Memorial Amphitheater (rain location: GUC Performance Center).

Dr. Ian Loeppky, professor of Music and UNA Chorusescollegiate-singers director, promises this free concert will have something for everyone.

“The concert includes a smorgasbord of lighter things for spring: accompanied and a cappella; small ensembles and big powerful choirs; tender tear-jerkers and playful bonbons; from right here at home and from around the world; jazz, popular, folk, classical; and ALL of it music we love to sing,” said Loeppky.

Copy of Picture at ball gameThe concert includes Candi Long and Alan Flowers on piano, Brent Barnes on bass and Zack O’Bryant on percussion.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and enjoy beautiful music in a beautiful setting.
