LAUDERDALE COUNTY-a Lauderdale county worker in the lunchroom of A high school in Lauderdale County has been arrested on charges of having sex with a student.

Amy Nicole Wigginton, 41, reportedly admitted to having sex with the boy on at least two separate occasions at her home in March 2025. Wiggington was arrested last week after authorities confronter her with the allegations. She was then interviewed by law enforcement, and after making her confession she was charged with two counts of a school employee engaging in a sex act or deviant sexual intercourse with a student.
Wigginton was booked into the Lauderdale County Jail and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
