Ulrike "Rikki" Hamilton Profile PhotoUlrike “Rikki” Hamilton, 81, most recently of Iuka, Mississippi, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Rikki was lovingly referred to as “Oma” by most and was known for her unique and witty personality. She served in the Air Force and was incredibly generous, often helping others without them ever knowing. She loved flowers and to garden and was an exceptional crafter, having crocheted many Christmas ornaments and quilts throughout the years. In her spare time, she also enjoyed reading and completing crossword puzzles. Most of all, however, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rikki is survived by her son, Micheal Heger (Sandy); 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and her very good friend, Becky Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margarete and Willi Heger; and her brother, Horst Heger. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. The family will be holding a private memorial service on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Rutledge Salem Chapel. In lieu of flowers, you can honor Rikki’s memory by helping someone in need or making a donation to the Tishomingo County Animal Rescue.
