Two Women Arrested After Welfare Check In Florence

FLORENCE-The Florence Police released a statement concerning a welfare check on  East Bluff Street on Tuesday, March 27 in which two women were arrested:

Grigsby, Ashley

“Officers responded to a welfare check on E Bluff St. When officers arrived they could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle parked beside the house.

Officers then made contact with Bonnie Moskwa. When she opened the door the odor of marijuana was very strong. They then spoke to the other occupant, Ashley Grigsby.

Officers then check the welfare of the child that was in the residence, the child is 5 months old. Officers placed both women under arrest and contacted DHR.

Both females were arrested for Possession of Marijuana 2nd, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Exposing a Child to Narcotics. Ms Moskwa has a bond of $8,000.00 and Ms Grigsby has a bond of $8,500.00 she is also charged with Possession of a controlled substance.”
