Two-Vehicle Crash Takes Life Of Horton Woman

CULLMAN-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency report a two-vehicle accident that has taken the life of one person:

“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, has claimed the life of a Horton woman.

Shelia F. Sisson, 74, was critically injured when the 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt that she was driving was struck by a 2020 Ford Fusion driven by a 17-year-old. Sisson was injured and transported to Cullman Regional Medical Center for treatment, where she later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.

The crash occurred on U.S. 278 near the 86 mile marker, approximately seven miles east of Cullman, in Cullman County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
