Two-Vehicle Accident Takes Life Of Toney Man

MADISON COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident that has taken the life of a Toney man:

“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 5 p.m. Monday, August 18, has claimed the life of a Toney man.

Christopher B. Hills, 43, was fatally injured when the 2013 Ford Explorer that he was driving struck the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 driven by Jimmie L. Robinson, 67, of Ardmore. After the initial impact, the Ford then struck a cattle trailer that was being hauled by the Chevrolet. As a result of the impact, the Ford left the roadway, overturned and caught fire. Hills was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.

The crash occurred on Old Railroad Bed Road near Ready Section Road, approximately two miles north of Toney, in Madison County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
