MUSCLE SHOALS-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident near Muscle Shoals that has taken the life of Florence man:
“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 2:10 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, has claimed the life of a Florence man.
Jerry D. Richardson, 76, was fatally injured when the 2021 Chevrolet Equinox he was driving was struck by the 2016 Ford F-350 driven by Jason H. Holcomb, 48, of Haleyville. Richardson was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 20 near Gargis Lane, approximately three miles east of Muscle Shoals, in Colbert County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
