Two Suspects Arrested In Murder Of 3-Year-Old Kaiden Garner

FLORENCE-On Wednesday, September 2 the Florence Police Department released a statement concerning the death of 3-year-old Kaiden Garner:

Detectives with the Florence Police Department Criminal Investigation Division have continuously worked to seek answers in the murder of 3-year-old Kaiden Garner. This work included following up and seeking out information from the community. On Monday, September 1, 2020, a special session Lauderdale County Grand Jury heard the case. At the conclusion of the session, they handed down indictments on two individuals involved with this case.

Yalrick Zeonsha Pride

 Blake Joshwell Townsend, a 20-year-old male from Florence AL was indicted on one count of Capital Murder. He was arrested this morning, September 2, 2020, in Decatur Alabama by Florence Police Detectives with the assistance of Decatur Police. He is currently being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center without bond. 

 Yalrick Zeonsha Pride, a 20-year-old female from Florence AL was indicted on one count of Child Abuse. She was arrested and is currently housed at the Lauderdale County Detention Center and has a bond of $15,000.”
