DEKALB COUNTY-Dekalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris released a statement on the arrests of two suspects on drug charges after receiving a tip on Thursday, November 10 from a concerned citizen:

Sheriff Jimmy Harris states as follows:

“On November 10th the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office received a tip through the

www.dekalbcountysheriff.org website about possible drug activity at Timber Ridge Apartments in Collinsville. When the DeKalb County Drug

and Major Crimes Unit went to the residence they got consent to search. As a result of the search Methamphetamines and Drug Paraphernalia were found inside the residence. Paula Jean Henderson, 56 of Collinsville and Joseph Allen Williford, 27 also of Collinsville were arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Sheriff Harris says “Thanks to the concerned citizens for emailing us about criminal activity on the www.dekalbcountysheriff.org website tip line, we are able to get some of this drug activity off the streets. Please keep using the tip line to report any criminal activity or call the office at (256) 845-3801.”
