HUNTSVILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident that has taken the lives of two people in Huntsville
“A single-vehicle crash at approximately 6 a.m. Monday, December 13, has claimed the lives of two people.
Michael Santiago Mota, 27, and Kaitlyn Patterson, 24, both of New Market, were pedestrians that were fatally injured when a 2007 Kia Sportage struck them in the roadway. Both Mota and Patterson were pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver, Spencer Lee Allen, 25, of New Market, was not injured.
The crash occurred on Oscar Patterson Road near Coleman Road, approximately one mile north of Huntsville. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
