Two Men Arrested In Ford City Bank Robbery

COLBERT COUNTY– On Friday, March 13, 2015 Mr. Kevin Lamar Fuqua was officially charged for the March 11, 2015 bank robbery of the First Southern Bank in Ford City, which is located in east Colbert County. Also arrested in connection with the case was Mr. Jerry Dewayne Harden both men were from the Muscle Shoals area. Mr. Fuqua was released on a $150,000 bond and Mr. Harden is being held on a $100,000 bond. Both were charged with 1st degree robbery.

According to Colbert County Sheriff Frank Williamson, “It was the hard work of the Colbert County Sheriff’s Office, FBI, DTF and the local news media for their tips that led to these arrest.”
