Two Charged With Fraudulent Use Of Credit Card

FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department issued a statement concerning the arrest of two suspects who have been charged with Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card and Theft of Property 1st degree:

“Officers responded to 100 block of Heathrow Drive to a report of a stolen business credit card fraudulently used at businesses in

Florence, Muscle Shoals, and Decatur. The offenders made over $50,000 in purchases with the stolen card. Officers were able to identify several suspects while reviewing security footage.

Investigators obtained warrants for Kathryn Crawford and Nicholas Lenz. Crawford was arrested and charged with 17 counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card and Theft of Property 1st degree. She remains in the Lauderdale County Detention Center with a $47,000 bond. Lenz was arrested and charged with 28 counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card and Theft of Property 1st degree. He remains in the Lauderdale County Detention Center with a $53,000 bond.
