MORGAN COUNTY-On Wednesday, November 4 the Morgan County Drug Task Force with help from the Decatur Police executed a Search Warrant on an address in Decatur. Morgan County Sheriff’s Office has issued a statement on the arrest of two suspects that resulted from the warrant:
“On Wednesday, November 4, 2015 the Morgan County Drug Task Force, with the assistance of Decatur Police Department’s (SRU) Special Response Unit, executed a Search Warrant at the residence located at 2940 Frost Dr. SW. in Decatur, Al.
The Drug Task Force has had an ongoing investigation in reference to drug activity and the distribution of methamphetamine and heroin from this residence. SRU Officers made contact with Traci Leanne Zehler (w/f 40) and Skyler Doyle Brown (w/m 18) inside the residence. Agents
executed search warrants, locating a quantity of methamphetamine and near trafficking weight of heroin. Agents also located merchandise inside the residence that is possibly stolen property from several different retail businesses in Decatur. Both Morgan County and Decatur Police Department Criminal Investigators arrived on scene.
Traci Leanne Zehler was arrested and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance -Heroin, with the Intent to Distribute (Bond set at: $50,000.00) and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine (Bond set at: $15,000.00). Bond totaling $65,000.00.
Skyler Doyle Brown was arrested and charged with Loitering in a Drug House. Bond set at $300.00.
