FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department released a statement concerning a vehicle that was stolen pn April 25. The vehicle has been recovered and two suspects have been charged with Receiving Stolen Property 1st:
“On 4/25/18 patrol officers responded to 216 Marengo St concerning a stolen vehicle. The owner of the vehicle reported that his truck was stolen sometime during the day while he was at work. The vehicle was parked behind his place of employment.
Joshua Letson
The vehicle was tracked to the Walmart in Muscle Shoals and MSPD was notified. When they arrived they located the vehicle and it was occupied by Aldani Byrd and Joshua Letson. After speaking with a detective both subjects were charged with Receiving Stolen Property 1st, this was based on the dollar amount of the vehicle. Both subjects are in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on a $2,500.00 bond.
