Twila "Sandi" StanfordMrs. Twila “Sandi” Stanford, age 85, passed away on May 1, 2026, in Huntsville, Alabama, at Crestwood Hospital. She was born in Andover, New Brunswick, on February 22, 1941, to the late Earle and Roberta Turner.

To know her was to love her, and that was evident through her marriage and through the love she had for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was married for almost 59 years to her loving husband, Jim, whom she adored and kept on his toes. She was known best for her sharp wit and humor and her willingness to lend a hand when needed.

As “Gigi,” she will be remembered for her laugh, the joy she had playing with her great-grandchildren, and the excitement she had for the addition of her newest great-grandson, whom she met right before her passing. She was also a devoted member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, where her faith guided her and provided her comfort day to day. We can take comfort in knowing that through her faith, we will one day be reunited with her again in our heavenly home.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Kay Stanford (David); granddaughters, Jennifer Manning (Christopher) and Hannah Stanford; and great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Manning, Callahan Manning, and Cooper Manning; along with nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Stanford, and her children, Robin Stanford and David Stanford (Kay).

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the graveside service on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home.
